Cool Sh*t!!- The Gift by Carl Rinsch

Last month was the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival in France where the best and most creative advertisements of the past year are awarded and recognized. Top prize award, the Film Craft Grand Prix, was given to Philips for their Parallel Lines campaign, specifically The Gift segment, a short sci-fi film directed by Carl Erik Rinsch showing what looks to be a futuristic, dystopia Russia. The concept of Philip's Parallel Lines campaign is as follows:

"The Gift
A film by Carl Erik Rinsch
Part of the Parallel Lines project from Philips Cinema and Ridley Scott Associates.
Five short films. Five genres. Five of RSA's hottest directors. One unifying piece of dialogue.
Were pushing the boundaries of cinematic viewing, giving you the chance to experience the spectacular Ambilight, picture and sound capabilities of Philips TVs for yourself.
There are millions of ways to tell a story.
There's only one way to watch o
ne. "

Here's the short:

Neat Eh? Apparently buzz from this short caused a bidding war among several studios to turn it into a full length feature film. Would you be interested in seeing the full length film?
